Welcome to the blog for Marine Biology at the University of Washington! Did you know that UW has an interdisciplinary minor in Marine Biology? The Marine Biology minor combines coursework and research from three primary departments on campus – Oceanography, Aquatic & Fishery Sciences, and Biology. Although the majority of marine biology minors comes from these three majors, the minor is open to all UW undergraduates and can be declared at any time – even your first quarter on campus. To learn more please visit the minor website.
This blog will be updated frequently with job, volunteer, and internship opportunities as well as updates on Marine Biology events, research, and field trips happening on campus. As we grow and shape the blog, we are open to content suggestions – let us know what you want to read more about!
