Students – Science Writing for Impact Seminar | Autumn 2013 | ENVIR 500B

Learn to write from a journalist and New York Times contributor.
Instructor Stacey Solie works with emerging environmental scientists to transform anxieties about writing into excitement, and to help students learn to write with impact about topics in their field.
Activities include lecture and discussion, writing exercises, analysis, guest speakers and work-shopping of assigned writings. Topics will center on the students’ own scientific research.
Wednesdays 1:30PM – 3:20PM
