Marine Science Event for Admitted Students April 7 &14

The College of the Environment will be hosting 2 Marine Science events for admitted students interested in pursuing studies in Oceanography, Aquatic & Fishery Sciences, and/or Marine Biology.

Admitted students, please RSVP via this link.

RSVP is not required, but it will help us in planning! Space in the Fish Collection is limited.

Choice of Dates: Monday, April 7 or Monday, April 14

Schedule of Events:

8:50 AM – Meet in front of the main entrance to Mary Gates Hall (MGH) Map, on NE Grant Lane. If it’s raining, we’ll meet just inside the main entrance. Short walking tour to south campus. If you arrive late, please meet us in FSH 203 at 9:15 AM.

9:15 AM – Marine Science at UW Info Session in the Fishery Sciences Building (FSH), Room 203. Students who do not wish to walk with us may meet at FSH 203: Map If you have a hard time finding the room, please inquire at the front desk in FSH 116.

Oceanography (BS)

Aquatic & Fishery Sciences (BS)

Marine Biology Minor

10:00 AM – Tour of UW’s Fish Collection. Meet in FSH 203. The tour will last approximately 1 hour.

11:00 AM – Depart – head up to main campus to eat lunch and attend Admitted Student Preview events beginning at 12:30 PM.

  1. I signed up for the UW’s Fish Collection tour but it didn’t ask our names. It’s for Mara Salisbury – newly admitted student and her Mother, Charlotte Salisbury. Can we please be added to the attendee list?
