Behind the Scenes: Seattle Aquarium – Husky Adventures Event for Incoming Freshmen!

Husky Adventures are great ways for incoming UW freshmen to explore Seattle, make new friends and get to know University of Washington faculty/staff before the start of school! This year the School of Aquatic & Fishery Sciences and Marine Biology are co-hosting a Husky Adventure that will take you behind the scenes at the Seattle Aquarium! Check it out and register while there’s still space left!

 

When: Monday, August 18th at 8:30am

Ends: 4:30pm
Cost: $30 (includes a meal)*
Registration Deadline: Monday, August 4th

Have you ever wondered what lies beneath the waves of Puget Sound? Discover the marine life of our region up close and personal on a private Seattle Aquarium Behind the Scenes Tour. Explore the vibrant Seattle waterfront and sample local seafood cuisine at Ivar’s. Close out the day with a stroll through the Seattle Art Museum’s waterfront sculpture park. *Please note that closed-toe/closed-back shoes are required for the aquarium behind the scenes tour*

A limited number of scholarships are available. The charge will be added to your student tuition account and will be due with Autumn tuition in October.
