The Program on the Environment is now hiring for an hourly undergraduate Peer TA position for the ENVIR 100: Interdisciplinary Foundations course in Winter 2015. This is a competitive hire, and applications are due on Friday, 10/31. Students are paid $12/hr for approximately 50 hours of work over a quarter and also earn 5 credits of ENVIR 489: Environmental Studies Peer Teaching Experience. These credits can be applied to an Environmental Studies minor, but you have to check with your major advisor to see if the credits will apply to your program.
This is a great opportunity to –
– gain skills valuable to anyone pursing a career in Environmental Education
– get experience teaching at the college level
– join a dynamic teaching team to be taught and mentored by course instructors and graduate TAs
Experience taking the ENVIR 100 course is preferred, but not required. Students from any major are invited to apply. Please direct any questions to Joe Kobayashi at firstname.lastname@example.org and see the attached document for more information.Win2015.ENVIR100.PeerTA
