Being a FIG or Orientation leader is an incredible way to support incoming freshmen and share your expertise at “being a UW student.” The Marine Biology program is hosting 2 FIGs with FISH 250 in Autumn 2015 and I would love to have marine biology minors leading them! These leadership roles can help you share your love of marine science or hone your teaching and leadership skills. If this interests you, please apply!! See below for details. 🙂
First Year Programs is currently recruiting for our First-year Interest Group (FIG) Leader and Orientation Leader (OL) student positions!
The FIG program is looking for students from all departments who are UW-Seattle undergraduates with strong organizational skills (i.e., not over-committed), and a genuine interest in working with freshmen as they face the challenges and opportunities presented to them as new students.
