Marine Biology Minor

The University of Washington offers an undergraduate minor in Marine Biology. The Marine Biology minor is an interdisciplinary program that combines coursework from three UW departments (Oceanography, Aquatic & Fishery Science, & Biology) as well as from Friday Harbor Laboratories, UW’s marine field station located on San Juan Island.

The Marine Biology minor is open to all UW undergraduates and students can declare the minor as early as their freshman year!
